If you are committed to supporting the arts and arts education, we are looking for you! Virginia Children’s Theatre is always seeking community minded, volunteer board members.
For 15 years, our volunteer board has been the strategic heart of VCT, ensuring that our work for children and families has meaningful impact. If you are one or more of the following, we’d like to talk to you:
Energetic and entrepreneurial
Community leaders and philanthropists
Leaders at our partner agencies and in the for-profit sector
Parents/grandparents and others who have a demonstrated talent, joy and energy in chairing successful fundraising events and promotions
We are looking for folks who will:
Attend 10 board meetings annually
Actively serve on a committee
Act as an Ambassador for VCT in the community and among your colleagues and peers
Be always curious to learn more about professional children’s theatre, arts education, and nonprofit governance
Make a personal, charitable contribution to VCT
